IMPROVING STUDENTS UNDERSTANDING OF THE THESIS FLOW BY USING THESIS MAP TECHNIQUES

An understanding of the flow thesis writing is very important to ensure good and quality research results. This situation always waves graduate students so that many lose during presentation proposal (defense proposal) or oral examination (viva). The Thesis Map technique an innovation in teaching methods uses arrangement a visual box. Thus, objective this study analyze improvement mastery (thesis flow) by using technique. action design was used look at changes student achievement mastering writing. A total 4 PhD from subject Research Methods (PPPY6283) were involved study. Students are taught for 1 semester April July 2021. Effectiveness analysis evaluated three instruments namely Test-Before Action Test-After Action, observation proposals. Findings show there increase through comparison results Pre-Action Test Post-Action Test. also found showed interest, enthusiasm subjects taught. effectiveness evidenced acquisition excellent presenter marks between 36-39 out 40 marks.
